Flappy Watch is an (unofficial) Apple Watch version of Flappy Bird. A personal project for the developer who wanted to get his teeth into coding for Apple Watch, I was approached to help out with the UI for the game. With the small screen of the Apple Watch in mind, we decided to embrace flat design principles, with minimal use of textures, gradients, and shadows with elements appearing clean, and focusing on clarity and readability and large, easy to tap buttons.
